On Saturday, December 2, 2006, family members met in Long Beach, California to form the 2008 California Reunion Committee. Attendees included Clarence and Syna Sturdivant, Ronald and Cynthia Alexander, Michelle Kennedy and Raven Harris. Also attending was Markayza Valdez-Ford, granddaughter of Cynthia Alexander. It was a beautiful day right next to the harbor in Rose Haven, Maryland. One can see the Chesepeake Bay and view the serene tree-lined landscape. Nooshin and Eden were wed in a Baha'i wedding ceremony at Herrington on the Harbor on July 31st 2006. There was great food, lively music and everyone celebrated to Nooshin's and Eden's bright future together! Nooshin is the daughter of James and Firouseh Sturdivant. James Sturdivant of Beltsville, Maryland celebrated his 70th birthday with loving family and close friends on March 11, 2006. It was a wonderful party with a gathering of about 150 people.
