BDSNM Family Reunion

The BDSNM National Family Reunion has undergone a recent reorganization.

In order to more closely describe who we are and our purpose our corporate name is now:

BDSNM Genealogical and Historical Society

PURPOSE:

Our purpose remains the same and that is to promote educational awareness to family genealogy of African-Americans in the United States of America by gathering, publishing and preserving historical material through various forms of communication. This purpose will be further promoted by holding periodic meetings, making displays of historic materials, holding discussions on matters of historic interest, interviewing senior citizen pioneers who have firsthand knowledge of past events, encouraging the taking of photographs and movies of a historic nature and recording all information for future reference.

ORGANIZATION:

We are organized as a non-profit corporation with the North Carolina Secretary of State and registered with the Internal Revenue Service.

Board meetings are held a minimum of twice a year or more often as necessary.

Incorporated in the state of North Carolina Office of the Secretary of State March 30, 2011.
